WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT?
Check-in is 5 pm (HT) on the day of arrival. Check-out is 11 am (HT) on the day of departure.
CAN I CHECK-IN EARLY OR CHECK-OUT LATE?
We try to accommodate reasonable requests for early check-in or late check-out, but we can only confirm 48 hours prior to your stay. We also offer flexible check-in or check-out options (subject to availability) that can be purchased 48 hours prior to your check-in or check-out dates, so you can enjoy just a little more Maui time. Ask us for more information!
DO YOU HAVE WIFI AT THE HOUSE?
Yes, we offer high speed wireless internet. You can take video calls and stream videos during your stay.
CAN I HOST AN EVENT OR CELEBRATION AT YOUR HOME?
Unfortunately, we do not allow any events (bachelor or bachelorette, wedding rehearsals or other events) to be hosted at our home. We also have a zero tolerance policy for noise disturbances caused by guests at any time. Quiet times are from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
DO YOU DO DIRECT BOOKINGS?
Absolutely! You can book direct with us and save additional fees chanrged by booking sites.
WHAT ARE YOUR BOOKING TERMS?
We require a 50% deposit to confirm your reservation. Balance is due 60 days before arrival.
HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENT?
We accept Visa and Mastercard and certified cheques in US funds.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Cancellations before 60 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund less a booking fee of $500.00.
Cancellations that occur at least 30 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund of the total reservation.
Cancellations within 30 days prior to arrival, late arrival, or early departure receive no refund.
DO YOU ALLOW SMOKING IN YOUR VACATION HOME?
There is NO SMOKING in any unit or on the property of the Ma’alaea Surf Resort units. If we find that you have smoked in our home, there will be a minimum $500 fine charged.
Do you have any beach gear?
Yes, we provide beach chairs, a cooler, beach towels, beach umbrella and boogie boards.
WHAT IF THERE IS A NATURAL DISASTER OR ANY OTHER UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCE THAT AFFECTS OUR STAY?
Although we do everything possible to make your stay as relaxing and carefree as possible, we cannot control or be responsible for the weather or any other unforeseen circumstance that may affect your stay.
There are no refunds for natural disasters or other major events that are out of our control. We recommend trip insurance to protect your holiday investment.
DO YOU SELL TRIP INSURANCE?
The property management system we use is licensed to sell travel insurance. RentalGuardian Trip insurance is available during your check-out. Carefully read the insurance that you purchase so you know what cancellation reasons are covered and which ones are not. ‘Cancel For Any Reason’ insurance is highly recommended.
